D.W. Masonry, Inc. was established in 1976 by David W. Smith Sr. When asked, he will tell you that starting the company was his best decision after proposing to his wife Robyn, who is the beloved martiarch of the family. A fourth generation mason, David Sr. has worked on various historic jobs including the William Paca House, Naval Academy, and the brick streets of Annapolis, Maryland. Smith is President Emeritus of D.W. Masonry, Inc. and continues to play an active role in the company and its growth.

Also playing an active role is his son, David W. Smith Jr., a fifth generation mason. David Jr. was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer in 2011. He works on estimating/bidding, meeting with customers and vendors, and has over 20 years of experience working as a mason. David Jr. is a graduate of Wesley College with a degree in marketing and is a licensed realtor.

Tammy Smith Lednum is the daughter of David W. Smith Sr. She is Chief Financial Officer and handles office duties including receivables, payables and payroll. Tammy is a graduate of Wesley College with a degree in business administration.

Bill Lednum, Tammy's husband, is Vice President and works closely with employees to insure materials, tools and equipment are available at job sites. He has worked in the family business since 1990. Bill's expertise as a mason and keen eye for reading blueprints during the bidding process and throughout construction have proven to be an invaluable asset to our company.
